[Radiation Hardening Tests]
SEU/MBU Testing
In various industries like civil and military aerospace
electronic devices are exposed to a much higher
radiation dose compared to ground operations. Systems used
in that environment need dedicated safety enhancements to
deal e.g. with single event upsets or even multi bit upsets
as required by DO-160/DO-254.
To test these safety features in accordance to the mentioned
requirement standards, the device under test has
to be exposed to different radiation types and energies
in certain doses (w/o destroying the device) to
show its correct behavior.
Radiation Test Offering
Bluestone offers a whole range of services in that area
which are carried out by our Nuclear Physicists. This
service include:
- Development of test specification in accordance to DO-160/DO-254, IEC/PAS 62396-2 and JESD89A.
- Review and consultancy for customer written test specifications.
- Development of test code.
- Test execution (Protons and thermal neutrons) in cooperation with local nuclear test facility.
