[supNET(A) Software]
Rx(free)
Rx(free) is the basic supNET(A) analyzer software package which offers to record (locally or remotely), manage, import PCAP/Wireshark Format, BlueCAP Format) and analyze AFDX® network captures. Captures can be filtered and analyzed using every AFDX® entity (End-System, Virtual Link, IP, Protocol, Message, Payload, Packet, etc.) and associated meta-data. Results can be displayed through supNET(A) Rx(free) or exported for further processing. Each filter or analyzing function can be stored, reused and exchanged easily.
All supNET(A) Software editions include:
  • Dedicated to support AFDX development, testing and maintenance.
  • Developed from scratch (not based on former generic sniffer).
  • Intuitively navigate through captures using AFDX entities.
  • Support of redundancy management.
  • Capture AFDX traffic remotely or locally.
  • Persistently mark entities for further assessment.
  • Use with standard NIC or supNET(A) RxTx card

RxConfig
On top of what Rx(free) already provides, supNET(A) RxConfig adds the possibility to create or generically import AFDX® configurations and validate a captured AFDX® network stream against this configuration. supNET(A) RxConfig is also capable of generating an AFDX® configuration out of an AFDX® network capture. supNET(A) RxConfig also includes all necessary functionality to configure the supNET(A) Lab Switch and to use the supNET(A) RxTx Device to its full extend.
  • Easily set up configurations for AFDX end-systems and switches for stand-alone usage
  • Validate configurations
  • User definable import and export formats
  • Share and exchange configurations and format definitions
  • Automatically create configurations (partly) out of network capture
  • Search through complete captures
  • Configure RxTx device
  • Includes client for network configuration database
  • Available early Q3/2010
RxTxConfig
supNET(A) RxTxConfig extends RxConfig capabilities and adds the possibility to create and transmit AFDX® network streams and therefore enable a complete AFDX® network simulation. Creating a simulated AFDX® stream is guided and provides all functionality to inject protocol errors on all levels.
  • Replay captured traffic unmodified or modified
  • Create traffic simulating ES or switch
  • Collaboration extension for easier intra-team information exchange
  • Configure supNET(A) RxTx device and supNET(A) switch
  • Available late Q4/2010
ConfigDB
The network configuration database (ConfigDB) is a centralized service to host and manage AFDX® configurations. The ConfigDB supports:
  • Manage complex AFDX network configurations
    • End systems
    • VLs and SubVLs
    • Ports
    • Messages including payload and signals
  • Generate and export configuration subsets for each network component (end-system, switch, analyzer)
  • Configuration versioning
  • Release management
  • Access rights management
  • Schedule-ability testing
  • Available early Q4/2010
